Ashok Leyland achieved total sales of 21,533 units in month of December 2025 compared to 16,957 units in December 2024, recording a growth of 27%. Total sales include domestic sales of 19,855 units (up 26% YoY).

Force Motors sold 3048 vehicles in month of December 2025 compared to 2036 vehicles in December 2024, recording a growth of 49.80%. Exports included in total sales stood at 96 vehicles (higher by 88.24% YoY).

Eicher Motors announced that VE Commercial Vehicles, an unlisted subsidiary of the company, sold 10,384 units of trucks and buses in the month of December 2025 compared to 8,324 units in December 2024, recording a growth of 24.7%.

Escorts Kubota Agri Machinery Business in December 2025 sold 7,577 tractors registering a growth of 38.5% as against 5,472 tractors sold in December 2024.

Domestic tractor sales in December 2025 were at 6,828 tractors registering a growth of 36.1% as against 5,016 tractors in December 2024. The domestic tractor industry sustained its strong performance in December, propelled by supportive government policies, lower GST rates, and continued state subsidies that enhanced affordability for farmers. Industry benefited from a strong Kharif output, enhanced Rabi sowing as compared to last year, increased water availability, and positive rural sentiment, all of which contributed to heightened retail demand. With these encouraging factors in place, the industry is poised to sustain its growth momentum in the upcoming months.

Export tractor sales in December 2025 were at 749 tractors registering a growth of 64.3% as against 456 tractors sold in December 2024.

Mahindra & Mahindra announced that its overall auto sales for the month of December 2025 stood at 86,090 vehicles compared to 68,814 vehicles in December 2024, a growth of 25%.

Total sales include passenger vehicle sales of 50,946 units (higher by 23%) and commercial vehicle sales of 32,324 units (higher by 33%).

Exports stood at 2,820 units (lower by 9%) in December 2025.
